Last week we visited the Tutim (Strawberries) Event in the neighborhood of Gordon street in Tel Aviv. The happening was organised by Gavriel Engel from the Engel Gallery and gave stage to art, music and food of course.

On the same day, we attended a gallery talk by Michail Grobman at Kishon Gallery as part of his solo show ‘Diary of a man in the land of antipodes’. Please visit Kishon Gallery’s website for even more info or visit the gallery itself where you can buy the exhibition catalogue!

Finally, we also went to Moshe Mirsky’s solo show, ‘Who didn’t come‘, at Dvir Gallery.

Welcome back to Arterview!

Check out our latest arterview with artist Alex Kremmer who has recently participated in two solo shows. One exhibition was called “Sky Play” and took place at Gordon Gallery and the second at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art was entitled “Valley of Hinnom” . Alex shares details about his work, the shows, his passion for music and more!

ראו את הארטרויו האחרון שלנו עם האמן אלכס קרמר אשר לאחרונה הציג שתי תערוכות יחיד במקביל, תערוכה אחת “עונות שמיים” שהתקיימה בגלריה גורדון ותערוכה שנייה במוזיאון תל אביב לאמנות בשם “גיא בן הינום”.

During the arterview we did at the Glasshouse, we also interviewed Branko Miliskovic, the artist in residence who was staying there at the time. Branko tells us about his project “Ingression”,  a video installation composed of 24 interviews the artist did with 24 different people. The 24 hours long series of interviews (each one lasted one hour) was edited into the final work which is 24 minutes long.

Last week, the arterview team visited the Glasshouse, an art space in Tel Aviv and the home of artists Lital Dotan and Eyal Perry. Lital’s and Eyal’s work are displayed all over the house: in the kitchen, the living room, the private room, the toilets… transfromaing the visit into a unique experience.  In the arterview,  Lital tells us about the glasshouse, and a number of projects.

Dafna Talmon, who is behind the great project “Markivim”, tells us about the project and the Markivim  exhibition which will open this Thursday at Kastiel House (36 Alfasi Street, Tel Avivm from 8 pm). As part of the exhibition the visitors are invited to bring their old glasses, which will be donated to the international organization “Lions” to be fixed and donated for charity. You can also bring your glasses to Doron Optics, until one month after the exhibition.

דפנה טלמון, העומדת מאחורי הפורייקט הנהדר “מרכיבים”, מספרת לנו על היולדו של המיזם ועל התערוכה שמלווה את הפרויקט, שתפתח ביום חמישי הקרוב בבית “קסטיאל” (רח’ אלפסי 36, תל אביב, שעה 8 בערב). כחלק מהתערוכה המבקרים בה מוזמנים להביא את המשקפיים הישנים שלהם ולתרום את הזוגות לארגון הבנלאומי “ליונס” אשר יתקנו ויתרמו את המשקפיים לצדקה. במהלך ואחרי התערוכה, ניתן יהיה לתרום משקפיים בסניפי אופטיק דורון – למשך חודש ימים מיום הפתיחה.ש

As part of his 80 days trip around the world, Yvan Rodic (aka the “facehunter“) visited sunny Tel Aviv where we had the chance to arterview him.
Yvan Rodic is known for his photos of stylish people from all over the world which he posts on his blog. Recently he has also created  a more personal blog, his visual diary.
Yvan tells us about his current and future projects, about his thoughts on Israeli style and much more!
